A landmark study carried out by Foresight on 360 couples looked at women with a history of miscarriage and infertility. After receiving natural preconception care, an incredible 81% of women went on to conceive even though many had been labelled 'infertile'

Even more encouraging, these pregnancies had:

  • no miscarriages

  • no prenatal deaths

  • no malformations

Before care, these couples had a history that included:

  • infertility (37%)

  • miscarriage (38%)

  • therapeutic abortion (11%)

  • still birth (3%)

  • low birth weight (15%)

  • malformations (2%)

  • sudden infant death syndrome (1%)

This highlights just how powerful preconception care can be in improving fertility and pregnancy outcomes. Preconception care matters; preparing before trying to conceive can transform outcomes. even small proactive steps may have a big impact on fertility and achieving healthy pregnancies
